Our Founders
Margherita Trestini
Margherita is an entrepreneur is an entrepreneur with 30 years of experience in European Commission-funded research and innovation projects. As Co-Founder and General Manager of Apodissi, she excels in business development for emerging markets, startups, innovation, and go-to-market strategies. She has successfully led initiatives to promote EU-Africa Research and Innovation collaboration, including supporting the European Union Delegation in organising the first EU-Nigeria Research and Innovation Days. She is the National Contact Point for the European Institute of Innovation & Technology and the European Innovation Council programmes in Nigeria.
Adriano Mauro
Adraino has over 35 years has over 35 years of experience in European and African industrial research and development teams. Since 2008, Adriano has served as the General Manager of Operations at IO Furniture in Lagos, Nigeria, where he established the production plant, led the digitisation of company processes, and integrated the logistics network. As Director of the Apodissi Technology Development Department, he brings a deep understanding of the industrial and SME technology needs in the European market, as well as specific expertise in the African market.
